Six million translated English terms?

Yes.

There are currently 23,820 basic terms in the Creation and Description layers and 256 syntactic terms in the articulation layer.

23820 X 256 = 6,097,920.000 terms

Actually these are just positive terms. You can create an equal number of negative terms. There are also sixteen million positive integers within a single glyph, but these things aren't fully implemented within the Instrumentation game, so I'm not going to count them as fully defined (although, they do exist in the smartphone app).

Of course, this does count plurals and degree forms as separate 'terms' (which technically they are within Instrumentation), but if we pull those out it still leaves 4507 'root words' in the Creation and Description layers.  And I'm also sure that many of the actual translated terms will not be used very often or easily because their meanings are somewhat preposterous, but they do still qualify as 'terms'. (hit 'Fortune' a few times in the game and you'll see what I mean)

Instrumentation makes it easier than ever to say "colorless green ideas sleep furiously".

These first three layers have the potential for creating 256 X 256 X 256 or 16,777,216 positive terms. The four layers of the complete glyph could create 256 X 256 X 256 X 256, or 4,294,967,296 positive terms. Six million may sound like a lot, but it only scratches the surface.
